Transition into Work Wear with UNC

Today, I'm kicking off my favorite season with another post in partnership with my alma mater, UNC-Chapel Hill.

As a recent college grad, I'm still slowly and surely adjusting to that transition from college to... the "real world." However, I'm a firm believer that in any new chapter in our life, we're bound to run into challenges. One challenge was having to limit my belongings because of how often I was moving around from place to place. Since moving to New York City, I realized I've barely used my mini crossbody bags and have now gravitated towards tote bags, in order to carry snacks, flats, portable chargers, water, and my MacBook with me to work.
Tote bags are a must for anyone working in a city, and this one is spacious enough to fit all my necessities on my commute to work. Not to mention, the personal touch that reminds me of my four years back at Carolina.
;)

I've always associated UNC with our school pride. I'm always so proud to rep my Carolina gear when I'm out for a run, or just running errands in general. You'd be surprised by how many people have stopped me to ask if I was a Tar Heel here in NYC. And honestly? I love every second of it.

With that being said, even though I consider most of my Carolina gear as workout clothes, there's pieces like this Peter Millar pullover jacket that you can easily transition into workwear. Pair it with white pants and a pair of loafers to keep it more professional and chic.

What are some of your favorite transitional workwear pieces?
Let me know in the comments below :)

P.S. if you missed it, here's my first collaboration post with UNC (here).
