When In Soho...

There's something so appreciative about seeing street style in person.

Back when I was attending UNC-Chapel Hill, I remember constantly checking New York Times for all the NYFW updates, or Instagram, or even Twitter, just to see the latest photos. I felt so "out of the loop" because I was thousands of miles away from the city where people treat the streets like a runway. The atmosphere is different here. More fast-paced, everyone is doing their own thing, and there's never an instance where I feel uninspired.

Now, just thinking about it, I feel like it's been so constant that it hardly phases me.
On my commute to work every day, I feel inspired by the little things. Men in suits, women decked out in the kind of clothing I like to call, 'fashion risks.' There's never a wrong way to wear something, and there's not a right way either.
Oh, and let me tell you... New Yorkers rock it.

My bestie Natalie and I roamed the streets of Soho back during NYFW for some downtime before the LuLu*s Style Studio event later that night. I mentioned here that I would be wearing a red wrap dress for NYFW, and this was the one I was talking about.

P.S. The LuLu*s Style Studio event was amazing. There were fun cotton candy champagne drinks, tons of appetizers, braid bars, and a DJ playing all my favorite hits. I loved meeting new friends and we certainly loved going home with a new outfit from LuLu*s... ;)

Wrap dresses are always so flattering on every body type. That's why it's important to keep at least one handy in your closet. I tend to gravitate towards anything with bell-sleeves, so obviously this dress was a winner.
