Love from Brooklyn

I can finally cross Brooklyn Bridge off my bucket list.

It's crazy. Of all the numerous trips I've taken to NYC, one place that I had not visited was the Brooklyn Bridge. The reason being, it was always out of the way, or I just never had the time.

That's the beauty of New York City

You never have the time to do everything you want to do here. It's all about taking it piece by piece, one borough at a time.

The minute I stepped foot onto the Brooklyn Bridge, everything felt like it was falling into place. My mind was piecing together literally everything I had expected of the Brooklyn Bridge. Instagram shots from bloggers shooting here, or Pinterest shots that are phenomenal: all of it... coming together.

The fence, the wires, the flow of traffic below me. It all seems ordinary, but it's actually quite different when you finally experience it in person. As much as I wanted to soak it up and take it all in, so was the neverending crowd of tourists all wanting to experience the same thing.

So I had my fair share of sunset photos with the silent promise that I would be back in no time to experience it again.

(Maybe next time at an earlier hour...)

Thanks for stopping by!
Have a great weekend.
