Best Cherry Blossom Photo Spots in Central Park
It’s no secret that Central Park is blooming right now. Central Park is quite magical in every season, but in the Spring, you’ll notice a different type of energy in the air. Maybe it’s the end of a cold winter or the vibrancy of the blooms putting a smile on everyone’s faces, or the warm sunshine teasing us with what’s to come of the warmer months… but whatever it is, Spring is a season worth experiencing in a place like Central Park.
Pilgrim Hill
How to get there: I recommend entering the Park at East 72nd Street and 5th Avenue.
Cherry Hill Fountain
Terrace Drive
How to get there: closest entrance is East 72nd and 5th Ave.
I stumbled across this little area by accident — I was walking back home towards the East Side when I spotted this quaint little spot in between Cherry Hill, Bethesda Fountain and The Mall. I actually ended up getting some work done in this spot because it was quiet and empty.

For these trees, you can enter from the Upper West Side 72nd and Central Park West for a closer shot of the San Remo apartments.
Here are some fun facts about the San Remo apartments:
1) The two towers are not symmetrical. The floors of the south tower are larger.
2) Steven Spielberg, Donna Karan, Demi Moore, Dustin Hoffman, and Steve Martin are a few of the influential people living in the San Remo.
3) The San Remo was built in 1930 by Emory Roth as the first two-towered building in the city.
Jackie Onassis Reservoir (on the Upper East Side)
For this shot, when you enter Engineers’ Gate, take a left and walk down the dirt path until you see a row of cherry blossom trees. You can’t miss these.
And I know this blog post is only highlighting spots in Central Park, but I had to include a few from Roosevelt Island.
