5 Unique Places To Visit in NYC During the Holidays

It's safe to say Christmas is here in New York City.

In fact, if you've walked through the beautifully-lit trees located in the Financial District (aka FiDi), those have been lit since... well, October.

I've been getting a lot of requests to share my favorite places to spend the holidays in NYC, and thought I'd share some of my favorites in a list below. If you've been following my blog for awhile, you probably know that I'm always one to find unique or 'hidden gems' in places that I live in or visit. For me, it's always exciting to be able to explore a place that most people don't usually venture off to, so I thought I'd share a few of those that aren't the typical "New York" things during the holidays.

This post from last year here was one of your favorites -- which does include a list of stuff you should do in NYC, so I thought I'd re-share it for those of you still planning to visit during the holiday season!

1. One Penn Plaza
- there's tons and tons of well-lit Christmas trees in the area across from One Penn Plaza.

2. Oculus at the World Trade Center
After checking out the trees at the One Penn Plaza, you can walk over towards the Oculus and shop the holiday pop-ups and see the beautiful holiday decor.

3. Luminaries at Brookfield Place
This is a holiday light installation in the Financial District that is only available until Jan. 29.

4. Seaport District
I was actually walking by this area for an event, and noticed there were beautifully-lit lights by cobblestone streets that led you towards a huge Christmas tree in the middle. It's so picturesque and worth visiting! It's also right near Pier 17's new cocktail lounge and rooftop bar, R17, where I went for the event a few days ago -- some of you may have caught it on my Instagram Stories. Also worth checking out. The food and drinks were delicious.

5. Giant Ornaments at 1251 Sixth Avenue
This isn't typically an area that most people go to visit because you tend to pass by these giant ornaments while heading to a location nearby. Snap some photos in front of these giant ornaments that are located across from the Radio City Music Hall, and then stop by to watch The Rockettes Christmas Spectacular.

:)

Hope these were helpful! Do you have any favorite places you like to visit in NYC during the holidays? Would love to hear them!

Hope you all have a great weekend :)
