A Parisian Feeling

A few moments that I appreciate are...

1. Experiencing no rain on a trip that requires spending time outdoors.
2. No delays at the airport.
3. Stumbling upon little quaint French-esque spots.

Story time.
Before finding this location, my sister had known how persistent I was to shoot this look at the Santa Monica pier. At sunset. Knowing how crowded it was going to get, I wanted it anyway. My mind was set. However, parking was full, traffic was insane, there wasn't actually a sunset because of the June gloom, and I was slowly getting agitated.
We ended up parking in a lot further away from the Santa Monica pier, and I was still determined to walk all the way there. Fortunately, we came across this chic French spot behind a restaurant and I knew this was the place. I never knew it was there, but it was perfect. In fact, it fit the outfit much better than being on a pier surrounded by crowds of people.
Was it planned? No. Did it scare me? You best believe it.
The moral of the story?
Sometimes, things have a funny way of working out when you least expect it.

Thanks for stopping by!
Have a great weekend :)
