Summer Sunsets
There's something so appealing about a summer sunset.
Or a sunset, in general. If you've been following my blog for awhile now, you probably already know I'm a sucker for sunsets.
Confession time: I was supposed to post this during Coachella because I obviously felt inspired by the wardrobe this year and had so much FOMO from all the photos.
*One month later*... and here they are.
However, this is how this shoot happened. I called up my sister on a weekend and told her I wanted to shoot something... different. Something different from my typical blog photos. I wasn't sure what I was aiming for here, but I needed fields... and the perfect lighting. I definitely had some people fooled because some people messaged me asking if I was in California when I posted on Snapchat. Ha ha. That's how I knew I had nailed the location for this shoot. I also realized another thing. I was shooting during a dreaded time called finals. This meant I was stressed, anxious, and unmotivated. However, I was all smiles during this shoot because in that moment, I felt happiness. Sometimes we just need to step outdoors during golden hour to realize just how beautiful this life really is. And it was just what I needed to get me back on track.
