Stepping Into Spring

Coming back from a trip always makes me appreciate the little things I've overlooked.

I don't know what it is, but I come back with new thoughts, new perspectives, and new ways to handle situations I may have left behind. Literally and metaphorically speaking.
Such as, forgetting band-aids and Advil was a bad idea. Always, always, always have those in handy. From a nauseating experience on the cruise to nearly ripping the back of my ankles with brand new wedges and having quite the "Spring Break experience" on a cruise with college kids, it's safe to say... those things should have been prioritized.
As for metaphorically speaking, I've come to terms that it's grind time.
Graduation is just around the corner. And I'm beyond ready.
I've spent the past few days recollecting my thoughts, prioritizing my work, and also... reminding myself that even if I plan, even if I work hard, even if I go out of my way to do certain things, without God's help and guidance... it's useless.

So here's to starting the official first day of Spring with the reminder that we at times, let slip away from us.

Thanks for reading.
