NYFW Look 2 + 7 Songs You Need In Your Playlist

I'm a huge music person. Always have been, always will be.

So whenever I travel, I make sure to have a playlist on deck because...

I don't know about you, but I love the feeling of traveling to a new place and listening to songs that I haven't heard before. Sometimes, when I come across that same song on shuffle, I end up remembering the exact location of where I first listened to it.

While flying to Philly, and then taking the train to NYC for NYFW, I spent a lot of time zoned out and lost in my new playlist. For starters, I didn't know what I would expect coming into the city. The blizzard, the shows, the hotel, all of it. But there was also a feeling of excitement too. A nervous, queasy, exciting feeling that I'd be reunited in my favorite city doing what I love.

Anyway, this was the outfit I wore on Day 1... of the snowstorm that hit NYC by surprise. And yes, I didn't wear a coat. While shooting with Martin of Chiney's Photography, I had a couple of people stop me and say things like: "No coat? You're so bold!"

"Where is your coat?" "You poor thing! You must be freezing!"

Yes to all of those responses. Yes, I was cold. Yes, I'm an idiot for not wearing my coat.

Lesson learned.
