I used to be one of those bloggers that tried to spin looks so I did not look like everyone else.
I was so completely infatuated with trying to be "different" and to stand out because that's the kind of personality I have. And I'm talking... getting annoyed when I could not think of another pattern mix or combo that would earn me the label as 'unique' without looking over-the-top. But over the years that I have been blogging, I realized that my thought process was all wrong. You don't have to be "different" in order to fit the name as a blogger. You just have to be confident with your style, do your own thing, and rock it.
Sometimes, simple is the ultimate form of sophistication.
