Blog Takeover: McKenzie Sanders
Today, I'm letting my bestie McKenzie Sanders take over my blog. I was literally swooning over this look when she came to pick me up for a girls weekend out and thought it would be fun to let her take the reins on this one! Ha.
Hi y’all!
I’m McKenzie! I'm Grace’s bestie, a Tar-Heel, lover of
anything sparkly, and the girl usually behind the camera. Having a best friend who is a fashion
blogger is pretty hard sometimes… in the way that she. Always. Looks. Good.
While I am usually sporting some yoga pants and a t-shirt, ha.
This past weekend we decided to get together for a girl's night out aka shopping at Southpoint Mall in Durham. Guys, I had seen a ton of these
photo-shoots before with Grace and was still so lost on how to pose, walk, and
not ugly-laugh for the camera. I FINALLY got coached on how to “swing my purse more,” lift my chin, and position my sunglasses jusssst the right way! We had a blast the rest of the night jamming to Grace’s new
iTunes playlist, stuffing our faces with Auntie Anne’s pretzel bites, and
getting asked by random strangers “Are you two models?” Isn't a dressed up
girl's night just what we all need sometimes?
By the way how do you feel about this over-the-knee sock
trend? I LOVE IT! Be sure to try it out as it looks good on everyone, aka
referring to my “fun-sized” best friend and my long-legged “how’s the weather
up there” self! ;)
