Swing Swing
I've always wanted a swing dress.
I've seen the best ones on ASOS for quite some time now (love how they have petite versions) and never really took the plunge... until I splurged this past summer.
I'm seriously swooning over the bright florals (and the pleats!) on this Marc Jacobs swing dress. Speaking of pleats, do you remember this post here?
I've always been a petite + short girl and never thought I could pull off the flowy, oversized-feel of a swing dress without looking too frumpy, because let's face it: nine times out of ten, you want to wear pieces that flatter your body shape. It's all about balancing the look to make it work. Opt for a pair of ankle booties instead of OTK or knee-high boots, so the dress doesn't swallow you entirely.
Side note: the ankle booties + black socks is a combo you'll be seeing me wear a LOT this Fall.
