Lees Take D.C.

My long holiday weekend stay at the Ezra Center resort in D.C. was pure bliss. I mentioned it in this post {here}. From the beautiful scenery on the top of the mountain to the air-conditioned resort where we stayed, I had a marvelous time spending the weekend indoors + outdoors. If I learned anything this weekend, it's that...
  1. A resort getaway is best spent away from laptops / iPhones. I definitely cherished all the family time I could get on this trip. Little reminders that these kinds of things won't happen often as we all grow up.
  2. I should stop checking my emails as much as I normally do. It's an addiction, really.
  3. Green tea mocha bread is actually really good.
  4. No matter what you may think the weather is, remember it is summer and that means short-sleeve / sleeveless tops are essential.
  5. I should really do something about my impatience. Patience was and is never really my strong suit.
  6. Coffee really does work wonders (even though I already knew that, it's good to be reminded of it every once in awhile).
