Red-y or Not
While uploading pictures on Chictopia, I felt utmost inspired by the 'Wear Red Wear Hope' campaign ad on the homepage of their website. {here} Though as big of an advocate I am in coordinating color in my wardrobe, red happens to fall under the category of 'colors-in-need-of-buying' and that made me wonder why I hadn't thought about incorporating the color red more into my wardrobe. I am ashamed to say that this is the only red skirt that provides me with comfort and ease (the others are either too short, too bulky, or just fall into the pile of do not and should not wears). I mentioned in a previous post about straw boater hats and my slightly new interest in them. To embrace the new trend I was sporting, I threw on my favorite gray vest (love the satin design on the back), paired it with pearls, a bold color-popping red skirt, and completed the outfit with a final touch of my favorite, comfy sandals. But despite it all, I felt the need to support the tsunami victims in Japan by showing my support in wearing red.
Support and wearing what I love. Two for the price of one.
Due to Blogger being down, old comments on this post were deleted. I had to repost this because it wasn't up when I logged back on, unfortunately.
