The Eyebrow Product I Use For My Daily Routine

If you asked me five years ago if I ever used an eyebrow pencil or eyebrow dye before, the answer would have been no.

I used to have a very minimal makeup and skincare routine growing up. Mascara, eyeliner, a little bit of blush – that was it. I wasn’t open to trying products that I was not familiar with. As far as brow care went, I groomed them, waxed them for shaping, and that was that.

How do you use the Brow Defining Boost?

Use it in the morning after your skincare routine. I apply the Brow Defining Boost after my facewash, moisturizer, and sunscreen. I make sure that the brush is lightly coated before applying. I’ve found it really helpful to use short, upward strokes with the thicker part of the wand at the front end of the brow to build and add definition. Imagine applying mascara to your eyebrows. I recommend using the precision tip to cover the sparse areas and gaps and shape the tail of the brow.

What Brow Defining Boost shade are you using?

My eyebrows are dark to begin with, so I tried the Dark and Black shades first. The Dark shade had a brown tint to it. I would definitely use the Dark shade if I wanted to go for a tinted brown eyebrow shade. However, I wanted more of the appearance of thicker brows and the Black shade was the best fit. Why do you love the Brow Defining Boost?

It’s hard to say one thing I love most about this product because it’s been beneficial in many ways. I love the Brow Defining Boost because it’s an easy process: the brush has a precision tip that does not clump up or harden over time. If there’s one thing that I value most when trying new products, it’s the process of application. I dislike products that are too confusing or complicated. The Brow Defining Boost is the opposite of that, which is another reason why I have been very consistent with applying it on a daily basis. I mentioned that I lack hair in the tip of my eyebrow, and the brush allows me to reach those areas with one easy stroke. I love having the options of many shades. Even though I’m not using the Light and Medium shades, it’s comforting to know that they are available. This product is inclusive, and anyone can use this product – whether you have light or dark eyebrows. I love the appearance of having fuller and thicker eyebrows. I mentioned growing up, I never focused on my eyebrows. I was self-conscious growing up with having gaps or lacking volume of defining brows, but this product has reminded me that something as little as having full eyebrows can help boost your confidence, and I’m thankful to Rodan + Fields for allowing me early access to this product that I’ll continue using in my every-morning routine.
