Holiday Gift Guide 2020: Products I *Actually* Use

Holiday Gift Guide 2020.png

I know gift giving during the holidays can be quite tricky. Especially when you’re searching for meaningful gifts that the person you’re gifting to will actually use.

And I know there’s a lot of us still scrambling to *still* find that particular gift for a special someone this holiday season. I thought I’d round up some of my favorite products that I use pretty much on a daily basis to help out in any way. As a social media strategist, having the right equipment helps me produce good content. I’ve used three types of tripods before, but this one has to be my favorite yet. A lot of my past tripods have always been hard to adjust, the legs always break off, and the adjuster always gets in the shot. I held the tripod as a long pole and even shot this video that I posted on my Instagram here. It’s under $30, comes with a remote, and extends up to 67inches!

Now that I have a drone added to the mix of equipment that I use, I’ve been wanting to upgrade my camera bag to a bag that fits all of my gear. This backpack fits my camera, camera lenses, tripod, iPad, chargers, and my drone.

If you follow me on Instagram, then you know how much I love these black boots. I wear them every other day here in New York City because they’re comfy to walk in, and very flattering for your legs. This is actually my second pair because I wore out the first pair I bought last year!

This iPad has been one of the best purchases I’ve made this year. Along with the Magic Keyboard. I hardly use my Macbook Pro anymore because the iPad is just that convenient. I use it to edit, schedule, post, and organize all of my client work. It’s fast, lightweight, and I couldn’t recommend it enough.

I use this adjustable phone stand every single day to answer Zoom calls with clients, organize content on my phone, look through emails, etc. It helps me straighten my posture instead of slumping over my phone while working, and it’s under $15! Another plus: it even works as a vertical iPad stand.

I haven’t shared much about this Apple Lightning to SD Card Camera Reader yet, but I’ve been using this to import all of my DSLR camera shots into my phone while on-the-go. It’s convenient because I normally stick the SD Card into my computer to access the photos and then airdrop to my phone, but this saves me a lot of time with importing the photos straight to my phone.

I use these resistance bands for all my lower leg exercises — comes in three sizes: light, medium, and heavy. And these blue light glasses help me work long hours looking at multiple screens every single day. This is a powerful and inspiring book for anyone looking for a new book to read.

I’ve been loving the Kendra Scott jewelry winter collection and this necklace is one that I would gift. I’ve been wearing it every day now since I’ve gotten it and it’s more beautiful in person. Added these beautiful Kendra Scott earrings to the list too.
