5 Things To Do for Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day isn't just about the status of your relationship. I want to emphasize that.

As someone who has never been in a relationship on Valentine's Day, I've tried my very best to not feel down about the holiday. Even though I was constantly surrounded by friends and roommates who had SOs and gushed about their Valentine's Day plans, I learned to be happy for them, and also block it out and focus on myself. If anything, this holiday is about loving yourself.
And knowing that YOU are worth it. Today and every day.

I want to share 5 things to do today -- REGARDLESS of your relationship status.

Single?
Taken?
WHO. CARES. 😉

1. Buy the dress
I just recently bought this dress that I had been eyeing since it was released -- which is now ON SALE with 40% OFF, by the way -- and I made the decision and bought it. If there's something you want today... I say, treat yourself.

2. Watch a movie
And by this, I mean the one you've been wanting to watch for so long. The one you've put off because "you haven't had time." Bring out the wine and some cheese, too. This is my favorite wine choice, as of late. It's so good. I highly recommend topping it off with some garnish and fruit.

3. Call your family
I think it's important to tell your family members you love them. Even if it's just a simple reminder that you're grateful to have them, because I believe the love you have for family goes beyond just any type of love.

4. Write a letter to yourself
Pull out a piece of paper and jot down 10 things you love about yourself.
And then keep the list going... 😉

5. Buy yourself the flowers
... because you're worth it.

Happy Valentine's Day!
xx
