$15 Gingham Dress // West Village

West Village is an area that I don't usually venture off to. Which I find rather odd because... 

if anything, it's the perfect place in NYC for someone like me.

Less crowded, a little more quiet than other boroughs, charming photo opportunities on every corner, shops, restaurants... need I say more?

This particular area is on Grove Street, and if you saw my Instagram post yesterday, you'll see the famous secret alley and charming courtyard that you've probably heard about. I've been dying to see it in person, and I remember walking around the area asking myself if I was still in New York City... one of many charms of NYC. 

Fun fact: The Friends apartment is also located on the same corner, and once you start seeing people stopping to take a photo, you'll know you're at the right location. 

Style tip: tie a light cropped sweater around your waist to give a loose-fitting dress some shape.
