Love at Frost Sight
Just when I thought the weather couldn't get any worse...
it did. The past few days, I've spent most of my time inside my apartment keeping warm from the bomb cyclone that hit the East Coast. New York has been on Code Blue the entire week, and honestly, I've never experienced weather like this before. At least never in North Carolina.
Just to sum up how I've been feeling every single time I've stepped outdoors the past few days...
Just imagine your fingers turning into icicles, to the point where you cannot bend them or even if you touch them, you feel like they'll fall right off. Imagine stepping on something sharp every time you move your toes. It's impossible to even step forward because you lose circulation in your feet -- even though you're wearing two fuzzy socks and boots!
And then don't even get me started on the icy cold wind slapping your face and your ears going completely numb. Wow, I'm clearly not in the south anymore, that's for sure.
