When Life Gets Ruff

No, but really. I went to Central Park right around sunrise last weekend. 

I'm usually an early riser, but I definitely struggled to get up that morning. When I arrived at Central Park around 7 AM, I wasn't in the best mood. However, the place was nearly empty and right then and there, it hit me how much I've missed this place. 

I've visited Central Park in the spring and summer, but always at times when it's been so crowded with tourists and families. That morning, I really got to experience the beauty of Central Park in a way that most people wouldn't expect. 

You might remember this shot I posted on Instagram (here). It was quiet, peaceful, and so un-Central Park like.

Sunrise strolls through Central Park might not be a typical every weekend thing, but you can bet I'll be back when the weather gets much cooler.

I posted this photo on Instagram the other day (here), and so many of you commented about the adorable puppies I ran into at Central Park. What's funny is that I was just sitting there on the steps taking some photos, and the puppies approached me like I was some sort of a treat... haha!

Even though it's no surprise that I gravitate towards black pieces, I've been eyeing pieces with a fun sleeve... and this TOBI romper instantly won my heart. I wanted to style this romper from TOBI as a transitional fall piece paired with over-the-knee boots and my go-to hat of choice lately: cabby hat.
