Lakeside with Banana Republic
Over Fall Break, my sister and I took a roadtrip to Blue Ridge Parkway and stayed near Rumbling Bald Resort at Lake Lure. We were able to enjoy some spa time, a fancy dinner with a sunset view, and shoot some photos down at the beautiful lake.

I wore this look with Banana Republic on the way to dinner at the resort and loved how comfortable and fitting these pants were. I've always wanted a pair of grid pants for workwear, and because I opted for the petite version, they were the perfect fit. I love that Banana Republic carries a petite section because it makes shopping easier for me. I don't have to worry about pants being too long or jackets swallowing me, and it's really the little things like that that draw me towards this store. Speaking of petite styles, I've always noticed how trench coats swallowed me in the past, but this petite navy peplum trench coat was not only a perfect fit, but very flattering with the peplum detailing on the back. It paired so well with these pants, and I know this navy trench coat (ON SALE) will be a staple in the colder months to come.
If you're looking for some workwear, I would recommend styling these pants with a button-down shirt and a pair of white heels to elongate your legs.
