Celebrating my blogiversary (blog anniversary) each year is an accomplishment in itself.

It simply means that I've made it through another year of creatively and strategically posting looks, collaborations, and yet still maintaining my college career and oh, a social life. It's a lot of time and effort, but being able to do what I love is what keeps me going.

Another year in the books. Another year of a "blogging journey" that I can always look back and reflect on. The good, the bad, and all the opportunities that come out of being an influencer in this digital age.

I spent the better half of Sunday afternoon at the pumpkin patch because I've been wanting to "go pumpkin picking" aka in blogging terms "shoot at a pumpkin patch" for the longest time. Even though this year's blogiversary doesn't include balloons or customized cupcakes, this shoot is still just as meaningful and something worth celebrating. So in order to keep the celebration in order, I wanted to share SIX FACTS THAT YOU MAY OR MAY NOT KNOW ABOUT ME. Whether you're a new reader or an old one (thanks for following along over the years! It means a lot to me), I hope you enjoy getting to know a little more about me.

1. I hate sitting in desks and always study / work laying on my bed.

It's a weird fact, but it's true. You can ask my roomies and they'll tell you that I'm always working from my bed. I just hate sitting in chairs because my butt always goes numb after a while, and it's just a terrible feeling. Ha ha, ask me how I dealt with the 'office life' while interning in New York City this past summer...

2. Speaking of New York City... I interned with Rebecca Minkoff and Lele Sadoughi in NYC this past summer.

It was honestly the best experience of my life. I was living in NYC all summer by myself and basically became a NYC native. I'm ready to be back up there and call that place my permanent home.

3. I don't wear face make-up.

And by that, I mean I only wear eyeliner and mascara. A lot of people mistaken me for wearing foundation, but I honestly don't own any! Occasionally, I'll wear concealer to hide a few pimples here and there, but other than that, nothing. That's why you don't see any beauty product hauls or my "makeup morning routine" posts.

4. I am a Christian and have numerous bible verses screenshotted throughout my iPhone camera roll.

It's honestly the best reminders. I'm a visual person and like seeing images of words and texts that I need to remind myself of at times. One of my favorite images is this verse here:

"God is within her; she will not fail." - Psalm 46:5

5. My shoe size has stayed the same ever since middle school.

Whoa. Saying that out loud actually sounds crazy. But it's true. I still own shoes that I've worn in middle school and still wear to this day. #size6andproud

6. I'm from Fayetteville, North Carolina and graduated from the same high school as J. Cole.

I used to think that no one really knew where Fayetteville was when I arrived at UNC-Chapel Hill, but everyone seemed to know where it was. And yes, my high school yearbook class has all the old yearbooks, including J. Cole's senior year photo. How cool is that?
