Downtown Love
There's something so appealing about strolling through downtown with a little cape action (and a little breeze) blowing behind you. Maybe it's the "New Yorker" in me, but I'm missing the city scene more than ever. Which is why I escape to downtown Raleigh every chance I can get.
Speaking of New York City... I've been keeping up with some of my favorite NYFW shows in between class work and breaks from the front row... of my MacBook. Best view in the house, if you ask me. Every season, I get so excited to see what new content designers are putting out there and the new trends to grace the upcoming seasons ahead. I find it intriguing that as each year passes, the runway set-ups get more interesting and new concepts of show venues are added in the mix. For instance... Rebecca Minkoff shutting down Greene St. (literally) for her runway show?! INSANE.
P.S. I've gone through 4 years of NYFW FOMO because my schedules have always clashed with school, but hopefully this season was the last. I'm 99.9% positive that I'll be attending NYFW in February.
