Oh My Stars

Normally, I would start my daily routine of complaining about the NYC heatwave, but lately, the weather has been quite the tease for fall. I've been adding some extra time after work to enjoy the outdoors. One of my favorite places that I have been wanting to shoot is the Meatpacking District. It's always packed and crowded with people, which is why I try my best to avoid it during the day, but I wanted to show my friend McKenzie the area and take her to Chelsea Market two weekends ago. Since we were heading in that direction for dinner and drinks, we figured we could snap a few photos.

All I can remember during that shoot is A) the overwhelming amount of taxi driver photobombers, B) my camera lens being difficult at the worst time, and C) sweating because it was nearly 100 degrees that weekend.

Overall, this dress will probably be reworn time and time again when the temps get cooler. Perfect way to transition into my favorite season: fall.

Do you have any favorite transitional pieces for fall?
