Charleston Travels Round-Up

Southeast Toyota Distributors, LLC ("Toyota") provided me with compensation and use of a VEHICLE for a short period of time. The opinions I have shared about this vehicle are my own.

Happy Memorial Day!

I wanted to do a quick Charleston round-up from my trip last week.
I'll be sharing my looks from Day 1 and Day 2 sometime this week or next week, but I just wanted to go ahead and share the travel diary video as well as snaps that I took.

And for those who gave me Charleston recommendations, thank you!!

I had the pleasure of partnering with Toyota to experience the 2016 Toyota Prius for a couple of days. The moment I arrived at the Mark Jacobson Toyota dealership in Durham, NC, I spotted a beautiful, bright red car with my name in big letters on a sign and a big red bow on top. My friend who drove me to the dealership can tell you that I literally screamed. I was in total shock. AH!

My trainer showed me all the newest features of the 2016 Toyota Prius, and I have to say... wow. I felt like the car could basically drive itself and I just simply had to steer. Ha! I was very impressed with the various applications on the touchscreen. My trainer showed me how to download the Toyota app called Entune that allows you to connect with all the mobile applications on the car, which made it much easier for the roadtrip. Some of the options included Facebook check-ins, Pandora Radio, etc. My favorite part was when my friend texted me and because I was still synced with the car, the text message popped up on the touchscreen and even had the option to 'read' and 'ignore' the text.

Not only that, but McKenzie and I both experienced the amazing blindspot sensors on the side mirrors of the car and how every time a car was in our blindspot, the sensors would light up. Not to mention, the car in general was very smooth. I mentioned several times to McKenzie while driving that it almost felt like we were just cruising because of how smooth the ride was.

As a travel enthusiast, I was counting down the days for this trip and was not entirely sure of what to expect, but the trip was worthwhile and it was the perfect little getaway before leaving for New York City in a few days.

Thank you so much Toyota for the most amazing experience in the 2016 Toyota Prius. I could not be more grateful to have had this opportunity.
