When Vera Bradley asked me to create my own Valentine's Day Gift Guide, I immediately thought of rounding up festive dresses that were affordable and chic. I then realized that was just about in every other Valentine's Day Gift Guide post, so I opted for a different approach.
Instead, I rounded up items that were smaller, and sometimes overlooked.
For starters, this travel brush and makeup case? I've been looking for a new travel bag to carry all my lipsticks and mascara and still have room for my other makeup essentials. Not only that, but a new phone case was mandatory for me. I like to switch up my cases every once in awhile, and I love how sturdy and chic my current one is. You can't really tell, but it even has glitter on the design. A win in my book.
This macaron pillow has been so popular on my Instagram. A lot of you have commented and asked where it was from, so I decided to include it in the gift guide. It makes for a fun photo prop, or even for the purpose of a (wait for it)... pillow. HA.
If you're not big on incorporating the pinks and reds this month, opt for a pink or red lipstick. If you want to make your color statement that way, go for it. I own Candy Yum-Yum, but I'm loving this shade of red too.
