Asheville Glamping Day 2
Day 2 of my Asheville mountain experience with Glamping Hub was spent at the Omni Grove Park Inn. Natalie and I were like two little kids in a candy shop. The entire place was "instagram-worthy," haha! We of course had to try the famous signature hot chocolate while overlooking the view (scroll down to see), and dine in at the Edison restaurant inside the resort.
If you're ever in Asheville, the Omni Grove Park Inn is a must see!
In case you missed my first post... here.
Natalie's Q&A video that we filmed - you probably saw a sneak peek on my Snapchat!
A funny story about our tripod situation.
Prior to arriving in Charlotte to pick Natalie up, she had told me that she was bringing her tripod, so I left mine at home. As we were packing up our bags to head to Asheville, Natalie realized that the attachment piece for her tripod was missing. This was a panic situation for us because I had centered most of our shooting and filming to be done on the tripod. Without it, we wouldn't have been able to film. When we arrived at our stay, we had considered going to the nearest Best Buy to buy a temporary tripod, but that's when I opened one of the closets in our bedrooms and found... a tripod. What are the odds?!
So yes. That explains why we were so excited to have found a tripod. Ha. Ha.
The spa at the Omni Grove Park Inn is apparently the best part of the stay. So sad we weren't able to try it.
lunch with a view. The salmon kale salad I ordered was so delicious.
Our view from our stay.
