The Blues

The week after Fall Break always seems to drag on forever.

It's hard getting back into the reality of things, especially for a girl who thrives on a schedule. I'm finally getting back into my normal routine and I'm even heading to the State Fair this afternoon for a little change of events.

I wore this look for a date night with my girls a few weeks ago. We went to Mama Dips in Carrboro (it was my first time), and got our fill of southern cooking. I love wearing knee-high socks with booties, especially in the cold weather. It's a great way to incorporate skirts into fall, and yet still stay warm.

Sidenote: I mentioned before how I was on the hunt for a suede mini skirt. I finally found one {here} and it's less than $50. Also, a little forewarning: it's a flare skirt, so it may look a bit wider on the hips than normal.
