Trust His Timing

I spent this week at home to relax with my family and enjoy the beginnings of summer. A well deserved few days after stressing out over finals week. Not only have I been relaxing, but I've also spent a lot of time thinking.

You might not see this side of me because I always seem to be on social media. Whether it's showing you my crazy / weird side of my life on Snapchat, or the best parts on Instagram, or simply what's on going through my head on Twitter... but I really do spend most of my time thinking.

This quote applies to me on a daily basis: "My mind has a million tabs open."

It's so true though. I do most of my thinking while I run or when I sit down to write my next blog post. AKA right now.

I can't help but worry about my summer and my future. How things have to go a certain way, or I have to achieve this grade for summer classes, or how I have to do this, do that, or how I get so caught up on wanting things to be perfect and as planned, but a part of me knows that I need to simply let go and let God handle it.

I can't control the future and I most certainly can't plan out every aspect of my life.

Things aren't going to go the way I plan. And maybe that's okay.

Because that's life. I know that God has a plan for me and I know it's all going to work out in the end. I just have to trust his timing.
