Sporty Layers

Hope everyone had a wonderful New Year! My family and I flew home from the west coast on New Year's Eve and then drove straight to D.C. to spend New Year's with my grandparents. Talk about being jet-lagged. Nonetheless, I thought this was the perfect post for the start of a new year -- 2014. My style tends to vary a lot and I wanted to somehow incorporate a fresh, new look that differed from my other outfits.

I like the idea of a brand, new year. It helps me look back on memories in years past and know that I still have another chance to make things right. I started my blog three years ago in 2010 and nearly quit last year. I felt like I wouldn't be able to manage blogging and college life simultaneously, but I'm glad I haven't stopped. In fact, I've met (virtually, of course) so many kind and inspiring people through my blog and I couldn't be more blessed. I am quite thankful of all the wonderful opportunities + sweet sponsors and I can't wait to see what 2014 has in store for me!
