Today I am teaming up with Amy of Coffee Beans and Bobby Pins to show you how we styled our vintage Chanel brooches. I have been loving the stripes+plaid combo lately. Pattern mixing is always a fun trend that I like to throw on every now and then. Also, I am absolutely obsessed with this gold brooch that I got for Christmas not too long ago, and I've been basically pinning it to nearly anything. It makes for the perfect statement and adds a special touch to my outfits since it's not as common to see vintage Chanels out and about. Especially not too common around a college campus, that is.

I collaborated with Amy with Hunter Boots back in August { here } and I just knew that couldn't be the last time we collaborated. I love how she pinned her brooch to a blazer and wore it with a darling floral dress. LOVE. I just adore Amy's style! Check out her post on her blog here!

I was feeling a bit under the weather this week. I had a fever of 105 and a really bad cold. It was the worst feeling ever. But after taking medicine and getting lots of sleep, the symptoms have worn off and I am feeling better than ever. Just in time for the weekend!
