Mad About Plaid

I love how a quick trip away from home can affect your daily life in the most profound way. After spending two days at home next year Chapel Hill for college orientation and then visiting Greensboro for the NC SBS blogger meet-up, I have arrived back in Fayetteville. I headed downtown yesterday and sure enough, the sweltering humidity and heat beat me down with a welcome...literally. It's good to know that little things like the weather, my house, and my family's home-cooked meals remind me of what I miss most about being away from home.

P.S. I never truly realized just how much red I own in my wardrobe until I pieced together this plaid on plaid combo.
