Looking Up
My weekend couldn't have been any better. I dropped everything that deemed of any importance to reunite with my older sister who came home from UNC-Chapel Hill for my birthday. My sister is my biggest motivation / inspiration / role model. We have the kind of relationship where we can simply talk about anything, and I love that. Whenever I'm stressing about school or life in general, I know exactly who to FaceTime. It's the greatest feeling when someone who has always been there all their life can bring out the best in you. Thanks for making my 18th birthday so special. Love you!
P.S. I'm a sucker for balloons. Always have been, always will. And with my newest DSLR camera, I couldn't wait to test it out. Though, transitioning from a digital camera to a DSLR is quite a challenge. There are things that I have yet to learn and yes, it can be frustrating that most of my shots turn out blurry. I''m still unsure of how to use the Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II lens, so if anyone wants to teach me the basics, shoot me an email at gracefulleemadeblog@gmail.com. In all seriousness, I'd be delighted for any sort of assistance.
6 DAYS until my birthday. But hey. Who's counting?
{ Also, in the process of prepping for the photo-shoot, I curled her hair and pieced her accessories together. It made me realize just how much fun it would be to work behind the camera as a fashion stylist instead of being in front. Always good to keep my options open. }
